How It Works

Students meet with certified teachers two days a week. Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared. Space is limited. My Tutor Connections Resource Center only allows 10 students for every teacher. All students must follow our code of conduct which includes showing kindness, acceptance, appreciation, honesty, responsibility, and respect. 

 

To start the process for acceptance, fill out the information form. You will receive communication via email about setting up a time to speak either in person or via phone to discuss your student’s needs and determine if the resource center is a good fit. 

 

Once accepted, a deposit of $400 and completed paperwork is required to hold your student’s spot. This is a first come first serve after the initial conversation. The first month’s tuition must be paid in full before students can begin with courses and each subsequent monthly payment is expected on the first of each month. Monthly tuition is $800 for two full days of instruction. We do accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship voucher for homeschooled and unique ability students. 

 

After payment is taken care of, we meet with families individually to discuss and document short-term and long-term goals for each student. These goals provide a guide for our teachers and the instruction that will commence. There is a possibility that families may need to purchase additional curriculum and textbooks based on these goals. 

 

Tuition includes 10 months of instruction (August through May), excluding holidays. Calendars will be determined by family surveys and teacher availability. My Tutor Connections Resource Center will track attendance, transcript courses completed, help students build portfolios, and provide certified evaluation letters for the district homeschool office.
